As some of you may know, I live in a fictional town known as Corncobville. It is a real town located on the Great Plains of Turtle Island. This is where I am currently living despite the fact that it is not my ideal location. There are no palm trees nor beaches nor mountains and the prevailing mass consciousness is in direct opposition to that vibration in which I prefer to dwell. Obviously, I can whine and complain or I can see it as a challenge. Personally, I think there are more options but for now I am seeing it as a challenge to squeeze every ounce of joy and beauty out of everything I encounter. It can be a challenge to see beyond the desolation and starkness of the land but I have found that when one rises to that challenge splendiferous rewards await. Beauty is everywhere and merely awaits the eyes that can notice it.
I have made the conscious decision to disengage--at least partially--from the mass human mind and the internet upon which it thrives. This puts me more squarely in the NOW and in....Corncobville. It is a beauteous and glorious dimension. I never would have booked it but it has been a vacation full of surprises, tons of joy, plenty of awareness expansion, and beauty in every nook and cranny. Who would have thunk it?
So while I traverse this strange land I will take notes (and some pictures) and I will send them back to that other dimension where everyone else is.
